Santo Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 For three days, the magic of Christmas strongly illuminated B\u00e1varo\u2013Punta Cana with the CEPM 2025 Christmas Village, a historic edition that celebrated its 15 years as one of the most beloved family traditions in the East of the country. More than 15,000 people enjoyed this unique experience that is already part of the cultural and community identity of the area.<\/p>\n\n\nThe event opened with a moment full of symbolism: the lighting of the Christmas tree using bicycles that generated energy, integrating innovation, sustainability, and citizen participation, a demonstration of CEPM’s commitment to a conscious celebration and aligned with its vision for a sustainable energy future in the region.\n\nSince 2011, the Christmas Village has grown as a free and safe space, designed to strengthen the bonds between communities and project the positive impact that energy can have beyond the electrical service.\n\n\n

Boosting local talent and the community economy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nThis edition included more than 10 Christmas shows, an ice rink, interactive games, face painting, raffles, meetings with Santa and his elves, and a local entrepreneurs fair that has become a driving force for dozens of small businesses in the area.\n\n\n

\u201cParticipating in the Village changes Christmas for us\u201d<\/em>, expressed Sharon Mendoza, an artisan jewelry entrepreneur. \u201cHere I have the opportunity to showcase my work, grow my business, and feel the support of the entire community. The energy experienced during those three days is incredible\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A commitment that transcends the festive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n“These 15 years of the Christmas Village speak of a long-term vision: to accompany the growth of the community, strengthen its traditions and create spaces that unite.
