New York.-<\/strong> The government of the American president, Donald Trump<\/strong>, plans to detain 80,000 immigrants<\/strong> in several industrial warehouses in the country that it will convert into detention centers, according to an exclusive report this Wednesday by The Washington Post.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nAccording to a draft reviewed by the newspaper, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)<\/strong> plans to detain immigrants in processing centers and then transfer them to one of these warehouses and finally deport them.\n\nThese facilities will each house between 5,000 and 10,000 people and will be located in the states of Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Georgia, and Missouri.\n\nMost of these stores are located in areas led by the Republican Party, the newspaper highlights, although two of them are planned to be located in Stafford (Virginia) and Kansas City (Missouri), cities led by Democrats.\n\nThe rest of the cities that will house these large detention centers are Hutchins and Baytown (Texas); Hammond (Louisiana); Glendale (Arizona) and Social Circle (Georgia).\n\nMeanwhile, other regions will be home to new processing centers that will have between 500 and 1,500 beds, such as Chester (New York), Salt Lake City, or Los Fresnos (Texas).\n\nThe Post notes that ICE intends to share this draft with private detention companies this very week.\n\n\n
