At 29 years old, the American achieved six victories in the season and was chosen PGA Tour Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive time, a feat only previously achieved by Tiger Woods. His next challenge will be to conquer the U.S. Open to complete the career Grand Slam.

Rory McIlroy

The Northern Irishman signed one of the most complete campaigns of his career by becoming the sixth player in history and the first European to conquer the four major tournaments, after donning the green jacket at Augusta.
In addition, he obtained his seventh title as the best player of the DP World Tour, remaining one behind the historical record of Colin Montgomerie, and was a key player in the European victory in the Ryder Cup held at Bethpage Black.

Tommy Fleetwood

English broke its prolonged drought of major triumphs by conquering the Tour Championship in the United States, being crowned champion of the FedEx Cup after 163 tournaments played.
Fleetwood, 34 years old, finished the season as the third player in the world, added an additional triumph in India and was the best European golfer in the Ryder Cup, where he obtained his fourth crown.

Jon Rahm

Spanish golf experienced an atypical year without individual titles for the first time since 2017. However, he closed the season as the best player on the LIV Golf circuit for the second consecutive year, surpassing Chilean Joaquín Niemann in the final stretch.
Rahm was also part of the winning European team of the Ryder Cup, achieving his third title in the competition.

Ben Griffin

The big revelation of the PGA Tour was Ben Griffin, who accumulated three victories and eleven top 10 finishes. At 29 years old, he rose to eighth place in the world ranking, completing a story of overcoming after having temporarily left professional golf in 2021.

Marco Penge

Englishman Marco Penge was the surprise of the European circuit by winning three titles (Spain, Denmark and China) in just his second season on the DP World Tour.
He finished second in the Race to Dubai standings, only behind McIlroy, and secured his presence on the PGA Tour 2026.

Luke Donald

Although he didn’t stand out as a player, Englishman Luke Donald went down in history as captain by guiding Europe to its second consecutive Ryder Cup, after the one obtained in Rome 2023.
With this feat, he became the first European captain to win two consecutive Ryder Cups since Tony Jacklin in the 1980s.

Jeeno Thitikul

Thai player Jeeno Thitikul, at just 22 years old, closed her first season as the women’s world number one after dethroning Nelly Korda.
She won three LPGA Tour tournaments and established the best scoring average in a season in the history of the circuit, with 67.7 strokes, solidifying herself as one of the great figures of women’s golf.
