SANTO DOMINGO, D.R.\u2013<\/strong> The Basketball Association of the National District (Abadina) held its traditional annual awards ceremony this Friday, in which the Bameso club was distinguished as \u201cClub of the Year 2025\u201d<\/strong>, thanks to its outstanding sports and training work throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may be interested<\/strong>:TBS Hig\u00fcey 2025 starts its semifinals series this Saturday<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe Bamesian entity received recognition after being crowned champion in the minibasket, U14 and U16 male<\/strong> categories, reaffirming its dominance in the minor divisions of district basketball. The event took place at the Volleyball Training Center, located in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.\n\nIn the men’s minibasketball tournament, the San Carlos club took second place, followed by Los Pioneros. In the women’s division of that category, the title went to the San L\u00e1zaro club, with San Carlos in second position. Precisely, San L\u00e1zaro was also recognized as \u201cClub of the Year 2024\u201d<\/strong>, for its performance in that period.\n\nIn the U14 and U16 male categories, the runner-up positions were obtained by the clubs Los Prados and Mauricio B\u00e1ez, respectively.\n\nThe activity was led by Edwin Castillo (Tatico)<\/strong>, president of Abadina, accompanied by H\u00e9ctor Junior Gil, vice president; the Immortal of Sport Jos\u00e9 \u201cBoy\u00f3n\u201d Dom\u00ednguez<\/strong>, general secretary; Alex Romero, in charge of Organization; Santos Mar\u00eda, of Press; as well as the vocalists Anthony Fern\u00e1ndez and C\u00e9sar Pilarte, among other directors recently elected on December 13th.\n\n\n

The plaque that credits Bameso as “Club of the Year 2025” was presented by Castillo and the Executive Committee of Abadina to Alberto Castro<\/strong>, club president; Augusto Castro<\/strong>, advisor; and to the lawyer Pedro Lara<\/strong>, also advisor to the institution.<\/p>\n\n\nIn thanking for the distinction, Alberto Castro expressed that “this recognition motivates us to continue working with dedication in favor of the children and youth of the sector, promoting values and integral development through sports.”\n\nThe coaches V\u00edctor Su\u00e1rez<\/strong>, champion of the male minibasket; Carlos \u201cTito\u201d Banks<\/strong>, U14 champion; and Renzo Germ\u00e1n<\/strong>, monarch of the Chinese Championship U18 category organized by the Mauricio B\u00e1ez club, as well as Carlos Flete, were present for the Bameso club. Mario Ventura<\/strong>, champion leader in the male U16 category, could not attend.\n\nThe annual Abadina awards ceremony began with a religious blessing by athlete Eli\u00e1n Benet<\/strong>, a member of the Bameso minibasket team and the district selection that participated in the National Convivio.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
