A pilot of an ultralight aircraft died this Saturday after crashing into the sea off Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, while performing advertising work, local authorities reported.<\/p>\n
After almost three hours of searching, the Rio Fire Department found a lifeless body and reported that there were no more passengers in the aircraft.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred in the early afternoon in front of Brazil’s most famous beach, packed this Saturday with bathers enjoying its white sands in the middle of the December season and awaiting the New Year.<\/p>\n
The pilot was carrying out an advertising mission in front of Copacabana beach when the aircraft suddenly plunged into the sea.<\/p>\n

Minutes after the accident, about thirty firefighters began rescue operations with jet skis, divers and helicopters.<\/p>\n
At the time of the plane’s collapse, other vessels were moving in the area, but according to the authorities, no injuries were recorded.<\/p>\n
