“My son was an athlete, not a gang member,”<\/strong> Angela stated through tears.<\/p>\n\n\nElvin Sadel’s main hobby was basketball, a discipline in which he excelled from an early age. According to his mother and neighbors, he was considered “one of the best in the neighborhood<\/strong>” and participated in his last tournament at the beginning of December. Coaches from different teams even came to watch him play, and he was recognized on several occasions as Most Valuable Player (MVP) in local tournaments.\n\n\u00c1ngela Delgado reported that the alleged perpetrators of the act grew up with her son and used to visit her house. “They grew up together, they came here to eat, but some time ago they distanced themselves because they were Pharisees<\/strong>,” she indicated, without offering further details.\n\n\n

Delgado described these statements as unfounded and assured that the authorities have not acted with due diligence.\n\n\n

They haven’t arrested anyone<\/strong>\u201d, he denounced.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nElvin Sadel left his daughter Britney, who was barely a year old<\/strong>, orphaned, and she is still waiting for her father to return home.\n\nLikewise, \u00c1ngela Delgado requested justice not only for her deceased son, but also for Erwin Sadel, who remains hospitalized in a health center due to the same violent act.\n\n\n
