Both were part of his training team and accompanied the boxer during his stay in Nigeria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The driver of the van remains in intensive care after the crash.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\nJoshua&#8217;s family, who were in the country, found out about the accident after receiving calls from acquaintances asking for information about his condition. His aunt described the news as &#8220;really shocking.&#8221;\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the incident, organizations within Joshua&#8217;s circle issued statements expressing their sorrow:<\/p>\n\n\n&#8220;It is with deep sadness that we confirm that two close friends and team members have tragically passed away. Anthony was taken to the hospital for tests and treatment. He is in stable condition.
