Micheli Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You may be interested in:<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/deportes\/lidom-despide-del-round-robin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LIDOM says goodbye to 2025 with the Round Robin table defined; tournament resumes on January 2<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nWith the victory, the <strong>national and Caribbean champions<\/strong> placed their record at <strong>5-0<\/strong>, taking a <strong>two-game<\/strong> lead over the Toros (3-2), who occupy the second place in the standings.\n\nThe Scarlet team set the pace from the first inning by scoring <strong>three runs<\/strong> against <strong>Justin Courtney<\/strong>, after a walk to <strong>Erik Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, a single by <strong>S\u00f3crates Brito<\/strong>, a double steal, and a run-scoring groundout by <strong>Yamaico Navarro<\/strong>. With the bases loaded after walks to <strong>Raimel Tapia<\/strong> and <strong>Jorge Mateo<\/strong>, <strong>Jos\u00e9 Marmolejos<\/strong> hit a single to right field that drove in two more runs to complete the initial rally.\n\nThe Romanense team responded with <strong>two annotations<\/strong> in the bottom of the first, but the capitalinos regained control in the second episode with another <strong>two runs<\/strong>. <strong>Junior Lake<\/strong> opened with a single to right field, stole second and scored with a hit by Gonz\u00e1lez to left. Subsequently, a hit by Navarro produced the fifth red run.\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Escogido added one more in the fourth inning and punished again in the fifth, when after two outs and against <strong>Anderson Severino<\/strong>, <strong>Michael De la Cruz<\/strong> hit a single, stole second and scored with a double to center field by <strong>Jonathan Guzm\u00e1n<\/strong>, who then crossed the plate with the eighth run after a hit by Lake against <strong>Jhan Mar\u00ed\u00f1ez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\nIn the bottom of the fifth, the Bulls loaded the bases and <strong>Eloy Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong> hit a double to left field against <strong>Phillips Valdez<\/strong>, driving in <strong>three runs<\/strong>.
