Caracas.-<\/strong> The Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez,<\/strong> chaired this Sunday, as acting president, her first council of ministers, in which she created a commission to manage the release of Nicol\u00e1s Maduro<\/strong>, captured in Venezuelan territory during a US military operation, a country to which she extended a hand to address a “cooperation agenda”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nRodr\u00edguez, who was summoned by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ)<\/strong> to serve as acting president, also addressed the issue of the country’s security, indicated the Minister of Communication and Information, Freddy \u00d1\u00e1\u00f1ez, in a statement broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisi\u00f3n (VTV) at the end of the ministerial meeting.\n\n\n

Relationship with the U.S.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nPreviously, Rodr\u00edguez, in a statement published on Telegram, which she signed as acting president despite the fact that there has been no public swearing-in ceremony, extended an “invitation to the U.S. Government to work together on a cooperation agenda, aimed at shared development, within the framework of international legality and (that) strengthens a lasting community coexistence.”\n\n\n

Commission for the Liberation of Maduro<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\u00d1\u00e1\u00f1ez announced the creation of the high-level commission to manage the release of Maduro<\/strong>, captured in the early hours of Saturday by the United States amid an attack on Caracas and other neighboring states such as Miranda, La Guaira and Aragua (north).\n\n\n
