The loss went to starting pitcher <strong>Jaime Barr\u00eda (0-1)<\/strong>, who pitched <strong>4.1 innings<\/strong>, allowed <strong>three runs<\/strong>, one earned, with four hits, four walks and two strikeouts.\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Match Development<\/h4>\n\n\nThe Giants took the lead in the <strong>first inning<\/strong>, when <strong>Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong> received a walk, advanced to third on a single by <strong>Francisco Mej\u00eda<\/strong> and scored on a groundout by <strong>Deyvison De los Santos<\/strong>.\n\nIn the <strong>third episode<\/strong>, <strong>Jos\u00e9 Siri<\/strong> connected a towing single to extend the lead to 2-0.
