“I have no one else to knock on the door,” he expresses in the letter, in which he asks that his file be reviewed objectively and “without prejudice,” in order to correct what he considers a serious judicial error.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n“I don’t ask for pity; I ask for the truth to be sought,<\/strong>” concludes the young woman, signing the letter “with respect and hope.”\n\nYokairy Sosa’s request reopens the debate on the review of convictions and the need to guarantee fair judicial processes, especially in cases where failures in the identification and evaluation of evidence are alleged.\n\n\n
