Integrating a medical ally like M\u00e9dico Express strengthens the destination’s confidence and the athlete’s experience before, during, and after each event,” said Yerik Shamir P\u00e9rez.\n\n\n

For his part, Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso highlighted that:<\/p>\n\n\n“Sports tourism demands a modern, timely, and reliable medical response. \u2022   Integrar de manera efectiva el turismo deportivo y el turismo m\u00e9dico.\n\n\u2022   Fortalecer la respuesta m\u00e9dica asociada a eventos deportivos, atletas y academias.\n\n\u2022   Reconocer a M\u00e9dico Express como centro m\u00e9dico de referencia para eventos deportivos relevantes realizados en Santo Domingo.\n\n\u2022   Elevar est\u00e1ndares de calidad, seguridad y experiencia vinculados al turismo deportivo.<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\nAmong the areas of collaboration are: medical protocols for events, clinical care for athletes and delegations, sports medicine and orthopedics, preventive and cardiovascular check-ups, advanced diagnostic imaging, outpatient surgeries when applicable, visual health and dentistry, as well as the development of medical-sports tourism programs integrated into the sports visitor’s itinerary.\n\nA country-vision alliance\n\nWith this agreement, ADOTURD strengthens its role as an articulator of Dominican sports tourism, while M\u00e9dico Express provides clinical capacity, infrastructure, and experience to elevate the destination’s confidence.
