Following the firing of Brian Daboll<\/strong> in November, the team finished the 2025 regular season with a record of 4-13<\/strong>, under the interim direction of offensive coordinator Mike Kafka<\/strong>, the fifth-worst record among the 32 NFL franchises.\n\nSince the departure of Tom Coughlin<\/strong> in 2015, New York had gone through constant instability at the head coaching position, with Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge, and Daboll<\/strong> at the helm without managing to consolidate a winning project.7\n\nHarbaugh arrives in New York after 18 seasons<\/strong> as coach of the Baltimore Ravens<\/strong> (2008-2025), one of the most successful periods in the recent history of the franchise. Baltimore’s Exit and Rapid Hiring<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nHarbaugh was fired by the Ravens on January 7<\/strong>, after a 2025 season in which the team finished with a record of 8-9<\/strong> and was left out of the playoffs. His availability immediately made him one of the most sought-after coaches on the market.\n\n\n

Although he had scheduled interviews with teams like Tennessee, Atlanta, and Miami<\/strong>, the Giants moved quickly and, after a meeting last Wednesday, closed the deal before he could hear other offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
