A New Approach to Relationships<\/h2>\n\n\nSince the severing of diplomatic relations, Washington has managed matters related to the South American country through its U.S. External Office for Venezuela, which is located in its Embassy in Bogota (Colombia), while during the presidency of Maduro and with the arrival of Trump at the White House, the restricted contacts were led by Richard Grenell.\n\n\n
