Second place was awarded to the work &#8220;<strong>Los ni\u00f1os en el barco<\/strong>&#8220;, by Ysidro Rosario Javier, and in third place was recognized the piece &#8220;<strong>Familia, nido estrellado<\/strong>&#8220;, created by Franklyn Reynaldo S\u00e1nchez Mart\u00ednez.\n\nIn the production crafts category, the piece &#8220;<strong>Las dominicanitas<\/strong>&#8221; by Daysi Mar\u00eda de la Cruz was awarded first place. Meanwhile, second place was given to the work &#8220;<strong>Las guineas<\/strong>&#8220;, created by Ysidro Rosario Javier, and third place went to the piece &#8220;<strong>Exploring, feeling and learning<\/strong>&#8220;, made by Oriolys Joselin Ram\u00edrez Vel\u00e1squez.\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>You can also read: <a href=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/acciones-ministerio-de-cultura\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Actions of the Ministry of Culture in 2025 benefited<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the special category of sustainable fiber crafts, the piece \u201c<strong>The peasant<\/strong>\u201d, created by\u00a0<a>Mariale Eloyne Rodriguez<\/a>, made with banana fiber, was the winner. Likewise, the work \u201cThe banana fiber relief\u201d, also made by Mariale Eloyne Rodriguez, was recognized.<\/p>\n\n\nThe event was led by the Vice Minister of Cultural Industries, Alicia Baroni, who was accompanied by various authorities and representatives of the artisanal sector.\n\nThe Annual Craft Award seeks to recognize the cultural, artistic, and productive value of national crafts, as well as to stimulate innovation, quality, and the preservation of traditions as an essential part of Dominican cultural heritage.\n\nIn this edition, the registration process concluded with the reception of 62 pieces, distributed in the categories of unique pieces, production crafts and the special category, corresponding to sustainable fiber crafts.
