Graduations were held simultaneously in four regions of the country: Metropolitan Region, with 3,770 young people; North Region, with 2,186; South Region, with 1,267; and East Region, with 1,081 graduates; for a national total of 8,304 students<\/strong>, distributed in 129 educational centers from 23 provinces, of which 61% corresponds to the female sex<\/strong>, reflecting the growing prominence of Dominican women in the processes of training and personal improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its creation in 2001, the Voluntary Military Service has trained 96,973 young people<\/strong>, directly impacting their academic, social and labor performance, by providing them with ethical tools, personal discipline and a solid civic education.<\/p>\n\n\nThe program is developed in coordination with the Ministry of Education and is part of public policies aimed at social prevention, values education, and the construction of a culture of peace, coexistence, and respect for the law.\n\nWith this new promotion, the Ministry of Defense strengthens its role as an institution committed to national development, transcending its constitutional defense mission to become a key player in social transformation and the formation of the young human capital of the Dominican Republic.\n\n\n
