La Romana<\/strong>.\u2013<\/em> The city of La Romana and the city of Matsumoto, Japan, signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of strengthening international collaboration ties and promoting joint initiatives in areas such as tourism, culture, and economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The act of receiving and signing the agreement was headed by the mayor of La Romana Manuel Hern\u00e1ndez Riquelme<\/strong>, Matsumoto, Yoshinao Gaun<\/strong>, and was attended by Mar\u00eda Alejandra Castillo del Rault<\/strong>, director of Relations with Asia and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the ambassador Lidia Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> and Mariorquis Sebasti\u00e1n<\/strong>, first secretary and head of the Urban Diplomacy Division.<\/p>\n\n\nDuring the activity, the authorities highlighted the importance of the agreement as a strategic step for the international positioning of La Romana, by facilitating the exchange of experiences, institutional cooperation, and the promotion of projects of common interest between both cities.\n\n\n
