Caracas.- <\/strong>The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez,<\/strong> announced this Tuesday the unblocking of assets of her country in the United States as a result of the dialogues with the Government of the American president, Donald Trump<\/strong>, and informed about the purchase, in the North American nation, of equipment for hospitals with these released resources.<\/p>\n\n\nIn an event broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisi\u00f3n (VTV),<\/strong> the Chavista leader assured that she has “established channels of communication of respect and courtesy”<\/strong> with both Trump and the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.\n\n\n

“We are establishing a work agenda and, within the framework of that work agenda, (…) we are unblocking resources from Venezuela that belong to the people of Venezuela, we are unblocking them, and it will allow us to invest significant resources in equipment for hospitals,”<\/strong> he said.<\/p>\n\n\nIn addition, he assured that the money will also be used to purchase equipment for the electrical system and for the gas industry in the South American country.\n\nThe Chavista government has denounced on multiple occasions that billions of dollars belonging to Venezuela, as well as gold and other assets, are blocked abroad due to international sanctions, including those of the U.S.\n\nRodr\u00edguez, who assumed the acting Presidency after the capture of Nicol\u00e1s Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, on January 3rd by US forces amid a series of attacks on Venezuelan soil, advocated for a “diplomatic dialogue to resolve disputes”.\n\n“As of January 3rd of this year, we have proposed that our differences and our divergences be resolved through diplomatic dialogue, through political conversation between authorities of one country and another country,” he affirmed.\n\nThis Tuesday, Trump insisted that he has a “very good relationship” with the Venezuelan government, when asked about the statements of Rodriguez, who said on Monday that he does not accept external “orders”.\n\n“Well, I don’t know exactly what’s going on there, but I haven’t heard that at all.
