Who was Marta del Castillo?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nMarta del Castillo was a 17-year-old Sevillian<\/strong> whose disappearance and murder in 2009<\/strong> deeply shocked Spain.\n\nShe left her house in Seville on January 24, 2009<\/strong> and never returned. Days later, her ex-boyfriend Miguel Carca\u00f1o<\/strong> confessed to having murdered her. He was sentenced to prison, but Marta’s body has never been found<\/strong>, which made the case one of the most painful and media-covered in the country.\n\n\n
