Puerto Rico, on the other hand, placed their record at <strong>1-1<\/strong>.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ab.deultimominuto.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/IMG-20260202-WA0163-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-603662\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nThe Scarlet team set the pace of the game from the start by scoring <strong>three runs in the first inning<\/strong> against starting pitcher <strong>Daryl Thompson<\/strong>. <strong>Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong> started the attack with a single to center field and a stolen base, followed by a walk to <strong>S\u00f3crates Brito<\/strong>. A hit by <strong>Junior Lake<\/strong> to left field drove in the first run of the game.\n\nFollowing that, <strong>Cristian Adames<\/strong> doubled to right field to drive in Brito and move Lake to second base, from where he scored thanks to a sacrifice fly by <strong>Aderlin Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> to center field.\n\nThe Dominican offense added another run in the second inning against <strong>David Lebr\u00f3n<\/strong>, the result of a double by <strong>Erik Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, which allowed <strong>Marco Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> to score.
