We are strong, taking the t\u00edpico to the top; the number one fan of the t\u00edpico is me from Monte Cristi Baby,\u201d said Cardi B, smiling and visibly excited.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe ties that bind Cardi B to the Dominican Republic are thanks to her father, as he is originally from the municipality of Casta\u00f1uelas, in the province of Monte Cristi, in the northwest of the country.\n\nDespite her global popularity and recognition, Cardi B has not lost that closeness to the idiosyncrasies of the Dominican people, sharing through her social media, on numerous occasions, topics of interest and current affairs in the Dominican Republic and videos singing Dominican music, especially typical merengue, dembow and bachata, and at the same time bringing her children to the Dominican Republic to visit their grandparents’ house and give them an experience of life in the countryside, despite her success and fortune.\n\n\n
