Caracas.- <\/strong>The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez,<\/strong> and the charg\u00e9 d’affaires of the United States in the South American country, Laura Dogu, met this Monday in Caracas to discuss the three-phase plan proposed by the Administration of US President Donald Trump on the Caribbean nation, which consists of stabilization, recovery and a “democratic transition”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n“Today I met with Delcy Rodr\u00edguez and Jorge Rodr\u00edguez to reiterate the three phases that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has proposed for Venezuela: stabilization, economic recovery and reconciliation, and transition,”<\/strong> Dogu said, according to a message published by the US Embassy in Caracas on X.\n\n\n

A “timeline” of transition<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nVenezuelan opposition leader Mar\u00eda Corina Machado said on Monday that she is willing to meet with Rodr\u00edguez to discuss “a schedule” for democratic transition, a process she again described as “irreversible.”\n\n“If it is necessary to exchange in any meeting for the purpose of defining a transition schedule, then it will be done.
