In the complete season, including all stages, the right-hander recorded a <strong>5-1 record<\/strong>, <strong>3.02 ERA<\/strong>, <strong>1.12 WHIP<\/strong> and <strong>34 strikeouts in 50.1 innings pitched<\/strong>.\n\n&#8220;I must start the game well and set the tone from the first inning, looking to get outs quickly. If I execute my pitches, attack the strike zone and limit hard contact, everything will be fine,&#8221; Lakins said.\n\nThe American pitcher is no stranger to Mexican baseball, as during the summer of <strong>2025<\/strong> he was part of the starting rotation of the <strong>Algodoneros de Uni\u00f3n Laguna<\/strong>, in the <strong>Mexican Baseball League<\/strong>, an experience that gives him additional knowledge of the environment.\n\nAs happened in the <strong>Round Robin<\/strong> and the <strong>Final Series<\/strong> of the Lidom, the current Caribbean champions have shown dominance from the mound in the tournament, leading the collective pitching with <strong>2.50 ERA<\/strong> and a <strong>batting average allowed of .234<\/strong> to their rivals.\n\nThe match between the Dominican Republic and Panama will be played this <strong>Wednesday at 4:00 PM (Dominican time)<\/strong> at the <strong>Pan American Stadium<\/strong>.
