    • 1905. Dominican President Carlos Morales Languasco signs a financial pact with the United States, by virtue of which that nation would take control of Dominican customs to pay “equitably” to American and Dominican creditors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 1938. Dictator Rafael Trujillo proposes to Joaqu\u00edn Balaguer to be chosen as a member of the Chamber of Deputies, by the members of that power of the State.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • 2020. The authorities of the Colombian Interpol announce the formalization to extradite Dominican drug trafficker C\u00e9sar Emilio Peralta \u201cC\u00e9sar el Abusador\u201d from that South American country to the United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
