Santiago.-<\/strong> In an action that strengthens the public-private alliance in favor of access to drinking water, Cementos Cibao donated this Tuesday a 2,000 square meter plot of land to the Santiago Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CORAASAN) for the construction of a storage tank with a capacity of two million gallons, intended to improve the supply in the municipality of Pu\u00f1al and the municipal districts of Guayabal and Canabacoa of this province<\/p>\n\n\nThe land, located in Estancia Nueva, will allow the construction of a strategic infrastructure that seeks to guarantee continuous and safe water to communities in the eastern part of Santiago, historically affected by limitations in the service.\n\nThe announcement was made during an event led by the president of Cementos Cibao, Cruz Amalia Rodr\u00edguez, and the general director of CORAASAN, engineer Andr\u00e9s Cueto, who agreed in highlighting the project as an example of effective cooperation between the private sector and the State to address basic needs.\n\n\n
