<\/p>\n\n\nThe protocol ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, at 4:00 PM, at the aforementioned headquarters.\n\nThe contest, in which 28 men’s and six women’s clubs will compete, has a special dedication to the Minister of Youth of the Dominican Republic, Carlos Jos\u00e9 Valdez Matos.\n\nValdez Matos, who was appointed by President Luis Abinader through decree 390-24, is a civil engineer and politician who assumed the position in July 2024, with the focus of promoting inclusive policies, entrepreneurship, and the integral development of young people.\n\nThe details were given by Edwin Castillo (Tatico), president of Abadina, through a press release in which he highlights the dedication to the young minister Valdez Matos, who is an ally of sports in the Capital city and throughout the country, in favor of children and young people.\n\nCastillo also highlighted the participation of those 28 youth clubs (U19) members of Abadina, in the men’s division, and the six that will see action -a single group-, in the women’s division.\n\nThe teams were divided into four groups, in A: Ensanche Luper\u00f3n, Los Prados, Nuevo Horizontes, Orlando Mart\u00ednez, Los Gladiadores, San L\u00e1zaro and Los Pioneros, and in B: Rafael Paulino, Mauricio B\u00e1ez, Rosa Duarte, Honduras del Oeste, La Ci\u00e9naga, Bameso and Dosa.\n\nIn group C were placed Huellas del Siglo, Rafael Le\u00f3nidas Solano, San Carlos, Mar\u00eda Auxiliadora, Reales del Caliche, Manganagua and Rafael Barias, and in group D are Gregorio Luper\u00f3n, Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar, Jardines del Norte, Monta\u00f1o, Rottweiler, El Mill\u00f3n and Naco.\n\nThe clubs that will see action in the women’s category are Mauricio B\u00e1ez, La Ci\u00e9nega, San Carlos, Rafael Barias, San L\u00e1zaro, and Ensanche Luper\u00f3n.\n\nCastillo valued that the championship has the sponsorship of the company Seaboard \u201cClean Energy\u201d and the endorsement of the Dominican Basketball Federation (Fedombal).\n\n\n
