<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\nHe informed that he spoke with the head of the School Infrastructure Directorate, Roberto Herrera, regarding the rehabilitation of schools and the completion of the dining halls and roofs that need it.\n\nHe stated that he will instruct the administrator of the Dominican Hydroelectric Generation Company (Egehid), Rafael Salazar, to accelerate the works for the protection of the municipality of Arenoso and to deliver the road that connects that demarcation with Villa Riva next year.\n\nIn his speech at the event, the director of Indri, Olmedo Caba Romano, said that in that area the water covered the houses due to the floods caused by the Yuna River and that a year ago no one dreamed of seeing that work finished.\n\nThe official also cited the other works delivered simultaneously, among which he mentioned the rehabilitation of the Aglipo II Project, construction of sewers in the Aguacate community, sewerage in Arenoso, and the discharge gate of the Yuna River in Arenoso.\n\nThe Yuna River originates in the \u00c9bano Verde scientific reserve and flows into the Saman\u00e1 Bay, with a length of 210 kilometers, a basin area of 5,498 square kilometers, and an average flow of 91 cubic meters per second. The tributary is vital for agriculture, mainly rice cultivation, which receives irrigation from the tributary and is the source of drinking water for the Lower Yuna.\n\n\n
