Thousands of attendees gathered last Sunday, February 22, at the malec\u00f3n to witness a high-level cultural festival.\n\nThe first place in the Floats category was also won by Carnaval Intergal\u00e1ctico<\/strong>, while second and third place went to Creaci\u00f3n y Diversi\u00f3n<\/strong> and Creaci\u00f3n Fant\u00e1stica<\/strong>, respectively.\n\nIn Traditional Devils, the winners were Los Dragones de Villa Mar\u00eda<\/strong>, Los Cachos de Villa Francisca<\/strong> and Los Mo\u00f1uses del Espaillat<\/strong>.\n\nThe Fantasy Devils category was headed by The Incomparables<\/strong>, The Sons of the King<\/strong> and The Devils of San Carlos<\/strong>.\n\nThe Disposables of Christ the King<\/strong> were crowned in the Popular Creativity category, followed by The President’s Birthday<\/strong> and The Little Giants<\/strong>.\n\nOn the other hand, the Historical category had as its most outstanding African Blood, African Roots, Ta\u00ednos and Africans <\/strong> in the top three positions.\n\n\n

Second place went to Los Palos de Villas Agr\u00edcolas<\/strong> and third place to El Viejevo del Swing<\/strong>.\n\nThe Traditional Individual Character was dominated by Traditional Roba La Gallina<\/strong>, Roba La Gallina de Los Kikitones<\/strong> and The Death in Jeep of the DN.<\/strong>\n\nThe Warrior Rooster<\/strong> took first place in the Individual Fantasy Character category, followed by Fantasy of the Reindeer God<\/strong> and Rebel Fantasy<\/strong>.\n\nThe official document was signed by the president of the jury, Arist\u00f3teles Ponserrate, and by the president of the National District Carnival Union (UCADI), William Garc\u00eda.\n\n\n
