You may be interested in<\/strong>:Tatis Jr. will be the first batter for the Dominican team, Pujols confirms<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe national team will begin its preparation schedule immediately and plans to hold its first practice this Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium<\/strong>, where access will be allowed for between 4,000 and 5,000 fans so they can share closely with the players and experience the atmosphere before the important international tournament.\n\nThe Dominican team will feature a constellation of Major League stars led by Juan Soto<\/strong>, Julio Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, Vladimir Guerrero Jr.<\/strong>, Fernando Tatis Jr.<\/strong>, Manny Machado<\/strong>, Carlos Santana<\/strong>, Ketel Marte<\/strong> and Geraldo Perdomo<\/strong>, among other figures who will wear the tricolor jersey with the aim of returning the world crown to the country.\n\nIn the mound, the pitching staff also presents top-level talent, headed by Sandy Alc\u00e1ntara<\/strong>, Luis Severino<\/strong>, Brayan Bello<\/strong>, Carlos Est\u00e9vez<\/strong>, Camilo Doval<\/strong> and Abner Uribe<\/strong>, a staff that strengthens the team’s aspirations for the competition.\n\nAs part of their preparation, the Dominican Republic will play two exhibition games against the Detroit Tigers<\/strong>. The first will be held this Tuesday at 7:05 PM and the second on Wednesday at 3:05 PM, both games at the Quisqueya Stadium.\n\nThe team’s arrival has rekindled baseball fever throughout the country, with a fanbase that maintains the illusion of repeating the historic feat achieved in 2013 and once again conquering the World Baseball Classic title.\n\n\n
