When will the defensive mission begin?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nThe French leader stated that the mission to reopen the Strait of Hormuz should be carried out with “European and non-European countries<\/strong>” and said that it would be carried out “once the most critical phase of the conflict was over”, although he did not provide further details.\n\nMacron also spoke of “escorting” several types of vessels<\/strong> so that “gas and oil” can transit through Hormuz again.\n\n\n
