Likewise, 861 undocumented immigrants were deported yesterday.\n\nIn the geographical demarcations indicated, 155 people in irregular migratory condition out of 526 were detained, who were also detained nationwide, while the military and security forces apprehended 578. Some 451 were detained by the Dominican Republic Army, 75 by the Police and 52 by the Specialized Corps for Land Border Security (CESFRONT).\n\nIn Greater Santo Domingo and the National District, the interventions were carried out in sectors such as Villa Duarte, Los Alcarrizos, Villa Mella, and Los R\u00edos. While in Puerto Plata there were 21 detainees, in operations carried out in the municipality of San Felipe and communities such as La Viara, Cafemba, Los Rieles, and El Javillar.\n\n\n

There were also interventions in the head municipality of La Vega.\n\nIn the North region, specifically in the Northwest Line, there were 90 arrests, led in number by Dajab\u00f3n with 60 cases, in communities such as Restauraci\u00f3n, Las Carreras and Cruz de Cabrera, followed by Valverde province (Mao) and Santiago Rodr\u00edguez with 30.\n\nIn the South region, the operations recorded 226 arrests, distributed among Bahoruco (45), El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a (37), Pedernales (35) in communities such as Aguas Negras, Menc\u00eda and La Altagracia; in Azua, Peravia and San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa (34), Barahona (31) in Tamayo, Mena Abajo, Vicente Noble and Fundaci\u00f3n; in Independencia\/Jiman\u00ed (25) in sectors such as Mella and in San Juan de la Maguana with 20.\n\nRegarding the deportation of the 861 foreigners who left the national territory, the El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a border post recorded the highest outflow with 361 people, followed by Dajab\u00f3n with 345, Jiman\u00ed with 94 and Pedernales with 61.\n\n\n
