SANTO DOMINGO, RD.<\/strong>\u2013 The reinforcement Anderson Mirambeaux<\/strong> starred in an outstanding offensive performance on Wednesday night to lead the Caminantes de Los Alcarrizos to an 89-85 victory over Caobas City, in the continuation of the regular season of the Santo Domingo Province Superior Basketball Tournament 2026<\/strong>, a contest dedicated to President Luis Abinader<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may be interested in<\/strong>:Karl-Anthony Towns scores 21 points in Knicks’ victory over the Jazz<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe powerful center dominated both sides of the court by recording a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds in 27 minutes and 54 seconds of play, being the main figure of the match held in the Las Caobas sports center.\n\nMirambeaux had the offensive support of Nargenis Ulloa<\/strong>, who contributed 21 points and seven rebounds, while Ronny Mateo<\/strong> added 17 units and distributed four assists. Michael Moya<\/strong> also contributed nine points and Luis L\u00f3pez<\/strong> with eight.\n\nBy Caobas City, Ezequiel P\u00e9rez<\/strong> led the offense with 22 points and five rebounds. The reinforcement Juan De los Santos<\/strong> signed a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Robert De Jes\u00fas<\/strong> added 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Yefri Brito<\/strong> scored nine and Leandro Cabrera<\/strong> finished with eight.\n\nWith the triumph, the Caminantes caused a three-way tie in Group B along with Caobas City and the Trains of Santo Domingo Norte, all with a 1-1 record, after the fourth day of the tournament was played.\n\nIn Group A, the Calero de Villa Duarte club leads with an undefeated record of 2-0, followed by the Le\u00f1eros de Los Mina (1-1), while the Loros Calientes de Santo Domingo Este occupy the last position with 0-2.\n\nIn the competition, the franchises Caminantes de Los Alcarrizos, the current champions, participate; Trenes de Santo Domingo Norte, runners-up; Loros Calientes de Santo Domingo Este; Le\u00f1eros de Los Mina; Calero de Villa Duarte and Caobas City de Santo Domingo Oeste.\n\nThe organizing committee is headed by “\u00c1ngel De la Cruz”, along with “William Cabral Lugo” (Nemeneme), president of the “Basketball Association of Santo Domingo (Abasado)”. The technical direction of the tournament is in charge of “Ram\u00f3n Ceballos” and “Maikel Rodr\u00edguez”.\n\nThe event is supported by the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic<\/strong>, headed by Minister Kelvin Cruz<\/strong>, as well as the company Seaboard Energ\u00eda Limpia<\/strong> and the support of Fernando Geraldino<\/strong>, Social Responsibility Manager of the company.\n\nNext match<\/strong>
