They are desperate to make a deal<\/strong>,” he declared.\n\nPreviously, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, stated<\/a> that Iran has never expressed to Washington its desire to reach an agreement. “We have never asked for a ceasefire<\/strong>, nor have we even asked for negotiations [on the nuclear program]. We are willing to defend ourselves for as long as necessary,” he stated in an interview with CBS.\n\nHe also indicated that Tehran sees “no reason”<\/strong> to return to the negotiating table with Washington due to the unprovoked military actions launched for the second time during the talks process.\n\n\n
