In financial institutions, the average rate for the sale of the US currency was RD$61.36, while the purchase rate reached RD$58.66.<\/p>\n
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported a selling rate of RD$61.19 and a buying rate of RD$59.86.<\/p>\n
Despite the market showing a slight daily depreciation compared to last week’s quotation (of -0.42% in bank sales), the medium and long-term figures reflect the strength of the Dominican peso.<\/p>\n
