Subsequently, during the struggle, one of the agents would have been injured with a scalpel, while another was injured in the midst of the confrontation.\n\nIn the development of the incident, and according to the official version, one of the agents reacted and allegedly struck the woman in the face with the handle of his service weapon, in the midst of the confrontation.\n\nWhen approached by the press after the judicial decision was announced, the accused rejected the measure and claimed they acted in response to alleged abuse by the officers.\n\n“That’s wrong, because you know it, you watch the videos… one responded like that because of the abuse that those people have, do you understand me?” expressed one of the accused, while asking that the case be investigated thoroughly.\n\nFor her part, Darleny Lisbet Rodr\u00edguez Rodr\u00edguez, identified as the person who allegedly injured the Digesett agent with the scalpel, also offered statements after the hearing, amid the media attention that the case has generated.\n\nThe Public Ministry had requested the imposition of three months of preventive prison, a request that was accepted by the court considering, at this initial stage of the process, the seriousness of the events and the need to guarantee the development of the investigation.\n\n\n
