Santiago.-<\/strong> A woman identified as \u00c1ngela Geraldine Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a>, 32 years old,<\/strong> died this Thursday, allegedly while undergoing an aesthetic procedure, liposuction, in a private health center in Santiago, a fact that has caused consternation among her relatives, who denounced alleged irregularities in the handling of the case and demanded a thorough investigation.<\/p>\n\n\nThe deceased would have gone to the center called Diosa Los Jardines<\/strong>, located in Santiago, to undergo the procedure for the first time. However, during the process, her relatives claim that they received confusing and late information about what happened, since they were initially told that the young woman “had become ill”, and it was not until later that they confirmed her death.\n\nHer cousin, \u00c1mbar S\u00e1nchez<\/a>, expressed through tears that the family is in a state of shock and deeply outraged by the way the situation was handled.\n\n\n

Supposedly she had a cardiac arrest, but they haven’t really explained to us what happened.\n\n“We are not satisfied with either the process or the way we were informed. They only told us that she had taken a turn for the worse and then that she had passed away,” she stated.\n\nS\u00e1nchez indicated that the family does not know how long \u00c1ngela had been deceased at the time they were notified, as well as whether the medical center attempted to resuscitate her, what emergency measures were taken, or if there was any prior complication that justified the outcome.\n\n“We want to know what was done with her, if they resuscitated her, if they tried to save her, what really happened, because she was a healthy, young woman and all her tests had come back fine,” he added.\n\nThe relative also stated that the establishment “has already had several problems with the justice system,” so they do not rule out that a medical malpractice may have occurred, although she clarified that they are awaiting the official results of the investigations.\n\nMeanwhile, the deceased’s father, Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Hern\u00e1ndez, also questioned that, prior to the outcome, the center had been requesting more blood and more money, despite the fact that the family claims to have previously met the economic and medical requirements demanded.\n\n“Blood, money, and everything had already been deposited. Then, overnight, they say the girl had a heart attack. Why were they asking for more blood and more money? That’s what we want investigated,” he expressed, visibly affected.\n\nThe family members remained peacefully outside the medical center, but burdened with pain, uncertainty, and demands for justice.
