A return to the stage that comes two years after her last tour and is presented as a new stage built from her last two record works: IO CANTO 2 and YO CANTO 2.

You may be interested in: Laura Pausini returns to RD with her “Yo Canto, World Tour” tour

“At the end of the last tour, after two years of concerts around the world, I wanted to stop, but as always, after a few weeks I felt an irrepressible desire to start again, and I pushed hard to debut this year and not next year because it’s in my DNA: I am a singer and I am proud to be one.

Anyway, I will always do my best to leave a mark, my vocal imprint. This is my life, it has given me much more than I dreamed and expected, so I must try not to be afraid and assume the responsibility of the role that has been given to me. I try every day and it doesn’t scare me; on the contrary, it is my adrenaline and my strength,” Laura Pausini.

The show is built on a double Italian and Latin soul that reflects the two musical traditions of IO CANTO 2 and YO CANTO 2. This duality translates on stage into a proposal designed to evolve throughout the tour, with different scenographic and musical developments that allow for different experiences depending on the show.

In this sense, the tour has been conceived as two differentiated shows, with two setlists and two productions designed around the songs of both albums. A proposal that will allow those who attend more than one date to discover a different show, both musically and visually.

This approach stems from the very origin of IO CANTO 2 and YO CANTO 2, conceived as a tribute to the songs and authors that have marked Laura Pausini’s career and that find their natural development in live performances.

From there, the participation of special guests is incorporated on some tour dates as an extension of that tribute, reinforcing live the spirit of YO CANTO 2: bringing to the stage the voices and songs that have been part of his musical history.

The inaugural concert in Pamplona was one of those dates, hosting two major gatherings in which a close and emotional tribute was paid to two great voices of the Spanish scene, becoming some of the most significant moments of the night.

The first of these took place with Mikel Izal, at an exceptional moment after recently announcing his retirement from the stage. Together with Laura, they have performed “Pausa” for the first time live, reinforcing the intimate character of the repertoire and its connection with the artist’s present:

“It’s one of the few songs that I feel like a conversation with myself. When I sing it live, I feel my whole body involved… I couldn’t wait to sing it with Mikel”.

The second has arrived with Rosana, who has taken the stage to perform with Laura “El Talismán” also for the first time together live. An unrepeatable encounter that will remain in the memory of all attendees, and that brings together on stage two of the most influential voices in Spanish music, bringing to the live performance the emotional origin of the choice of this song in YO CANTO 2:

“I felt the lack of a woman around me with whom to share what I was experiencing, and it was Rosana, with her personality and her music, who gave me that companionship and strength.”

The artistic direction, signed by Luca Tommassini along with Laura, starts from an original idea of the artist: an immersive scenography that represents a great fortress, a space of protection of music in which Laura presents herself as a warrior who defends it, celebrates it and shares it with the public.

“This is a very special tour. We have been working on every detail for over a year. It all starts with an idea from Laura, who envisioned an immersive scenography that would represent a fortress. A space in protection of the only true queen, music itself, of which Laura becomes a warrior: she defends it, celebrates it, and shares it with her audience.

We have built a narrative in which Laura goes through the world of music that has belonged to her, belongs to her and will always belong to her, celebrating her successes and the authors of the songs that have marked her the most. A complex work also at a visual level, which we are sure will give an unprecedented result,” explains Tommassini.

The show integrates a powerful visual development with audiovisual content and narrative pieces created for the LED screens, under the direction of Tommassini and the design of Eddy Angelelli and Studio Octopus. The lighting, designed by Francesco De Cave, accompanies the scenic evolution and reinforces the different moments of the show.

On stage, Laura is accompanied by a band of seven musicians and four backing vocalists, under the musical direction of Paolo Carta, in a live performance that combines reinterpretations of her new albums with the greatest hits from her repertoire.

The styling, signed by Monica Serani, accompanies this scenic narrative with a proposal aligned with the different identities of the show, while the image of the band and backing vocals has been developed by Angela Chezzi.

After Pamplona, the tour will continue through Spain with stops in Tenerife (March 29th), Barcelona (April 2nd), Valencia (April 4th) and Madrid (April 6th), with several dates already sold out, including Valencia and Madrid. Following this, it will begin its international tour through Latin America, with concerts in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, where it already accumulates multiple “sold out” in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Santiago (double date), Lima and Santo Domingo. Subsequently, the tour will arrive in the United States and Canada, with dates in Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York.

In the fall, the tour will return to Italy and visit the main European capitals, to continue in 2027 with new dates in Brazil and a final stage in Europe that will last until the end of the year.

The upcoming dates in Spain will mark some of the most special moments of this tour’s beginning, with new collaborations and surprises that will continue to develop the artistic universe of YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027.

With this premiere in Pamplona, Laura Pausini begins a global tour that not only revisits her musical history, but also projects it towards a new stage dimension, consolidating a show in constant evolution designed to grow in each city.
IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027

SPAIN + LATAM STAGE
MARCH 27, 2026 –
