You may be interested inr<\/a><\/strong>:\u201cUna Cancha Pa\u2019 Mi Barrio\u201d arrives in Santo Domingo Norte<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe day in the country will begin at 6:30 in the morning at the Dr. Rafael Mar\u00eda Moscoso National Botanical Garden, in sync with runners from different parts of the world, thanks to the initiative promoted by Red Bull.\n\nThe 2025 edition set a historical record by bringing together more than 310 thousand participants from 191 nationalities in more than 170 countries, managing to raise 8.6 million euros entirely for scientific research. This impact positions the race as one of the largest and most significant in the world, not only in sports, but also in the social sphere.\n\nThe event maintains its innovative format, in which there is no fixed goal. Instead, a \u201cCatcher Car\u201d starts chasing the runners 30 minutes after the start, determining the end of each participant’s course. This dynamic allows for the inclusion of professional athletes, amateurs, and people in wheelchairs under the same conditions.\n\nInterested parties can participate in person or through the official application, connecting in real time with thousands of runners globally.\n\nBeyond the competition, the Wings for Life Foundation promotes a clear message: every step counts in the search for a cure. 100% of the proceeds go to scientific projects focused on improving the quality of life of people with spinal cord injuries.\n\nThis weekend, the invitation is to run with a purpose, in a cause that transcends sport and aims to change lives.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
