According to reports from Spain, the tension between both players increased during a discussion at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas, where Valverde allegedly suffered an accidental slip that caused him to hit a locker room table. The footballer was taken to a medical center as a preventive measure and later returned to his residence.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred just one day after another confrontation between both players during a training session. According to reports in the Spanish press, the clash included pushing and a heated argument that continued in the locker room.<\/p>\n
