Montecristi<\/strong>.\u2013 The Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Pe\u00f1a<\/strong>, and the director of the National Health Service (SNS), Julio C\u00e9sar Landr\u00f3n<\/strong>, led the delivery <\/strong>of the renovated Dr. Julio \u00c1lvarez Acosta municipal hospital<\/strong>, in the municipality of Casta\u00f1uelas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\nThe work, executed with an investment exceeding RD$136 million, seeks to strengthen health services in the province of Montecristi and will benefit more than 18 thousand inhabitants of the community.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\nDuring the event, Raquel Pe\u00f1a highlighted that the remodeling and construction of the emergency area represent an advance in the strengthening of the public hospital network and in access to quality medical services.\n\n“Each renovated space and each strengthened area represent a concrete response to the needs of the population,” said the vice president.\n\n\n
