The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and SMEs (MICM) reported that the Dominican Government allocated RD$1,588.5 million in subsidies to keep the prices of essential fuels and LPG frozen for the week of May 23 to 29.<\/p>\n
Premium and regular gasoline, optimal and regular diesel, natural gas and LPG will not receive any price variation for the aforementioned period, despite the persistence of high prices for oil and its derivatives in international markets. While Avtur, Kerosene, Fueloil #6 and Fueloil #1 will receive adjustments.<\/p>\n
The Government is subsidizing consumers for each gallon of fuel as follows: in LPG with RD$21.88, premium gasoline with RD$58.50, regular gasoline with RD$75.69, regular diesel with RD$81.03 and in optimal diesel with RD$85.48, in order not to transfer the total of the increases in the international price.<\/p>\n
As of today, the Government has already allocated more than RD$16 billion in fuel subsidies alone to mitigate the impact of the international crisis and preserve the stability of the national economy.<\/p>\n
For the week of May 23 to 29, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes stipulates that fuels be sold at the following prices:<\/p>\n
Premium Gasoline will be sold at RD$331.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.<\/p>\n
Regular Gasoline RD$305.50 per gallon maintains its price.<\/p>\n
Regular Diesel RD$257.80 per gallon maintains its price.<\/p>\n
Gasoil \u00d3ptimo RD$283.10 per gallon keeps its price.<\/p>\n
Avtur RD$300.17 per gallon up RD$1.03.<\/p>\n
Kerosene RD$339.70 per gallon goes up RD$1.40.<\/p>\n
Fuel Oil #6 RD$203.83 per gallon up RD$6.44.<\/p>\n
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$226.28 per gallon goes up RD$7.54.<\/p>\n
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$137.20 per gallon maintains its price.<\/p>\n
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.<\/p>\n
