Barahona<\/strong>.- The Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Pe\u00f1a<\/strong>, led this Friday in Barahona<\/strong> a new edition of the “Madres que Sostienen<\/strong>” (Mothers Who Support) day, an initiative promoted by the Government<\/strong> to recognize and support Dominican mothers in different provinces of the country.<\/p>\n\n\nThe activity brought together more than “5,000 mothers” in the Barahona sports center, where a meeting marked by recognition, closeness, and the delivery of social aid took place.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\nDuring his speech, Pe\u00f1a highlighted the fundamental role that mothers play in Dominican society and valued the daily effort of women who support their homes and accompany the growth of their children.\n\n\u201cThis meeting is just a sample of all the pride that this government feels for Dominican mothers<\/strong>\u201d, expressed the vice president, while stating that \u201cmothers must be celebrated all year round<\/strong>\u201d. \n\n\n
