Another man was injured<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nThe Police also reported that during the incident, Starlin Gabriel Corniel, 33, was also accidentally injured, suffering an injury to one of his feet and remains receiving medical attention.\n\n\n

They use a firearm and a knife<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nDuring the arrest of Ram\u00f3n Malaqu\u00eda Checo, the authorities seized a S&M brand 9-millimeter pistol, covered by a valid legal license, a magazine with 13 cartridges, and a bladed weapon linked to the event.\n\nThe law enforcement institution indicated that the handover of the detainee was facilitated by a family member who identified herself as a lawyer.\n\nThe accused was transferred to the Homicide Department of the Dicrim and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry of the Dominican Republic for the corresponding legal purposes.\n\nInvestigating causes of the fight<\/strong>\n\nSo far, the authorities have not established the causes that originated the conflict, so investigations continue to determine the exact circumstances of the event and possible additional responsibilities.\n\n\n
