Complaints about the increase in fares on the routes connecting Hig\u00fcey with Santo Domingo and San Pedro de Macor\u00eds have intensified in recent days, according to reports from passengers who regularly use these routes.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the Association of Transport Owners of La Altagracia Province (APTpra) would have arranged an increase of RD$100 in the Hig\u00fcey\u2013Santo Domingo fare, going from RD$400 to RD$500, as well as adjustments on other routes towards San Pedro de Macor\u00eds and nearby areas.<\/p>\n
Service users point out that, unlike previous occasions, an official statement explaining or formalizing the increase has not circulated, which has generated dissatisfaction and uncertainty among passengers.<\/p>\n
