Miami.-<\/strong> Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana and American singer of Mexican origin Becky G released the song ‘Mi gran amor’ this Thursday, a collaboration in which they denounce the harsh reality currently experienced by thousands of Latinos in the United States due to immigration raids.<\/p>\n\n\nWith pop\/rock rhythms, the song tells the story of several migrants who left their country in search of the American dream, but are detained on their way to work despite not having committed any crimes, leaving behind an entire family.\n\n“It became a nightmare to seek the dream in the United States,” sings Becky G at one point in the single, accompanied by Carlos Santana’s guitar chords.\n\nBoth artists throw a dart at the ‘migra,’ as the agencies in charge of immigration control and the enforcement of border laws in the United States are colloquially known.\n\nWe recommend reading:\n\n\n
