In the first match, the teams of La Ci\u00e9naga and San L\u00e1zaro will face off, while in the closing clash, San Carlos and Mauricio B\u00e1ez will measure their strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The president of Abadina, Edwin Castillo (Tatico), reported that everything is ready for the start of the traditional capital championship, which will bring together outstanding national women’s basketball talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sports leader explained that the tournament is dedicated to the renowned political leader Do\u00f1a Milagros Ortiz Bosch, General Director of Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG), advisor to the Executive Branch on matters of Ethics, Transparency and Anti-Corruption, and first vice president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, he indicated that the tournament will have the Seaboard “Clean Energy” Cup at stake and that all matches will be held at the Ensanche Luper\u00f3n sports center, under the technical direction of Carlos Ger\u00f3nimo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Castillo also highlighted that deputy Melina S\u00e1nchez will serve as president of the 2026 Women’s TBS Organizing Committee, and announced that there is an intention to hold an All-Star Game during the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official schedule includes matches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting at 6:00 PM in doubleheaders, while on Sundays, the action will begin at 11:00 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each team will be able to sign two national reinforcements and two U-20 category players to strengthen their rosters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition system will consist of three rounds in the regular season, in which each team will play nine games, three against each opponent. The team that finishes in first place will advance directly to the final series, while the second and third place teams will face each other in a semifinal series best-of-five games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final series will also be played under a 3-2 format to define the tournament champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
