Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 The candidate for dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences<\/strong> (FCES) of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo<\/a><\/strong> (UASD), Maribel Lorenzo, held her campaign closing event this Wednesday at the Ricardo Michel Auditorium, where she received the support of professors, students, and university staff ahead of the elections for the 2026-2030 term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity brought together hundreds of supporters in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and institutional commitment, who expressed their support for the academic proposal presented by Lorenzo to lead one of the faculties with the highest enrollment at the state academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During her speech, the candidate expressed her gratitude for the displays of trust received throughout the electoral process and reaffirmed her commitment to promoting management focused on academic excellence, the strengthening of research, administrative modernization, and a greater connection between the university and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was backed by the ASJANA movement, an organization that supports his candidacy and promotes a proposal focused on institutional transformation, innovation, and the strengthening of academic services for students and faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attendees highlighted the candidate’s academic and professional background, as well as her experience within the university, noting that she meets the conditions to lead the changes and challenges facing the faculty in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this activity, Maribel Lorenzo concludes an extensive agenda of meetings with different sectors of the FCES, consolidating a support platform based on participation, inclusion, and the strengthening of educational quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
