Santiago<\/strong>.- The death of Sugeldy Arias, 47, whose body was found this Wednesday in a ravine in the Nueva Luz sector, in Rafey, has left the community and her relatives dismayed, as they demand a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident and find those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elizabeth Toribio, the victim’s daughter, asked the authorities that the case not go unpunished and that all investigative procedures be exhausted before pointing out culprits<\/strong>, after the deceased’s husband was taken in for investigation purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to preliminary information, Arias was found lifeless and showed signs of violence<\/strong>. Relatives indicated that the body was unclothed and had apparent blows to the head, while authorities continue their investigation to determine the exact causes of her death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe only thing I want is for justice to be served and for them to find the person responsible. I want them to investigate thoroughly, check the security cameras of nearby houses, and ensure this case doesn’t end up like many others,\u201d expressed Toribio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young woman defended her father’s conduct<\/strong>, who is currently being questioned by investigative agencies, asserting that he maintained a stable relationship with the victim and had never been involved in episodes of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe whole neighborhood knows he is a hardworking man, a mechanic, quiet, and that he never raised a hand to my mom. I don’t believe he has anything <\/a>to do with this, but I understand that the authorities must investigate,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report, the family began searching for Sugeldy Arias the previous night, after she did not return to her home. Hours later, they received a call alerting them to the discovery of a body in the area, which was later confirmed to be the woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neighbors described Arias as a person appreciated by the community<\/strong>, which has generated deep shock among residents of Nueva Luz and nearby sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities reported that the case is under investigation and that the corresponding surveys are being carried out to establish responsibilities and clarify the circumstances in which the event occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
