Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 President Luis Abinader<\/a> enacted Law 25-26 this Wednesday, a regulation that establishes the creation of a national mechanism aimed at streamlining the search and location of persons reported missing in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new legislation creates the system called \u201cAlertas RD\u201d<\/strong>, a tool that will allow State institutions to coordinate rapid response actions to reports of disappearances, with the purpose of improving the authorities’ reaction capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In accordance with the provisions of the law, the system seeks to strengthen search procedures through the coordination of efforts between public agencies and entities linked to the protection of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative arises with the goal of offering a more efficient response in situations involving missing persons, especially in cases that require immediate intervention to preserve the integrity and safety of those affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
