Parque Leloir, Buenos Aires.<\/strong> Carlos Alberto \u201cIndio\u201d Solari, legendary singer, songwriter, and one of the most influential figures in Argentine rock, passed away this Friday at the age of 77 at his residence in Parque Leloir, in the province of Buenos Aires. According to reports released in Argentina, his death occurred due to complications associated with Parkinson’s disease, a condition he had been facing for several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born on January 17, 1949, in Paran\u00e1, Entre R\u00edos province, Solari grew up in La Plata and became an undisputed icon of Argentine popular music. He was the founder and leader of Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, alongside Skay Beilinson, a group that defined an era with iconic albums such as Gulp!<\/em>, Bang! Bang!\u2026 Est\u00e1s liquidado<\/em>, La mosca y la sopa<\/em>, and Luzbelito<\/em>, establishing himself as a symbol of counterculture and national rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the breakup of Los Redonditos in 2001, he began a successful solo career accompanied by Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado.
